Since we have yet to receive responses from five schools and Lent is just around the corner (meaning, no Facebook until Saturday, March 30)- I will keep this blog entry up-to-date with the remaining responses we get. Check back often.

Busy week. As you can see I added another category “neglected” to our results. Graduate school is not always black and white. In addition to the prospect of being wait-listed, a student may not get funding or, in the case of Stanford’s response, they think you are great student but they can’t fund you- so they offer you the opportunity at their grand university to get your Masters… again... without funding. Thanks, but no thanks, Stanford.
And, with a sigh of relief, we are not going to Princeton. Nothing against the school- it is top notch, but everything against the state of New Jersey. I would like to say that if we were accepted and felt it was the right place to be- I’d go and I would do the things the Lord commands (IknowtheLordprovidesaway, He wants me to obey) but the reality would have been a more Laman-sque Angela. Hey, I can admit my weaknesses to you. Jersey is one of them. :)

Because you read the above passage, I have a treat for you.
Sometimes music does a better job at setting a tone than words do. Sometimes. I
created a playlist of a few songs that
reflect the mood of our household this February. This is not a Michael-approved
playlist. Maybe it will be by the time he reads this entry?
And, yeah, we have been watching a lot of Psych lately. :)
