May 18-24: Moving on Up, to the Eastside

After a five-day drive in a U-Haul and a six-hour flight the Thomson Family has made it to Massachusetts!
We live in Franklin. Here are some Franklin facts:

  • The population was 29,560 at the 2000 census.

  • In 2007, "Family Circle" Magazine named Franklin one of the top ten towns in the country in which to raise a family.

  • The Franklin Public Library is the nation's first free public lending library.

  • The Town is also home to the birth place of America's father of public education, Horace Mann.

  • Franklin is also home to what may be the nation's oldest continuously operational one-room school house.

New Blog, Coming Soon!

In order to keep in-touch with family after we move to the other side of the country, we have decided to do the "hip" thing and create a blog.

Our family will begin faithfully posting in June and will hopefully update every week.
