Special thanks to the Levingstons for watching our monsters for us. I'm sorry they were monsters.
Friday was Harvard’s 375th anniversary, and you (as were we) are probably pretty curious to see how the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States celebrates the big 3-7-5.
Here’s a glimpse.
Ice sculptures. Ice cream demonstrations by the Food & Science students. Tents. House Pride. A giant cake made by Flour (who else?). Cider Presses pressing. Apple cider (of course). Chocolate fountains. Free ponchos. Costumes. Yummy chocolate truffles. Living art. Band playing. Dance Performance. Students parading.

As you can see, it was raining. A LOT. Very muddy, we are pretty sure the Yard is ruined. I’ll have to ask Mike to take pictures on Tuesday. Despite the rain, it was a great night. I mean, if there is anyone I’d like to get stranded under an umbrella with it is, for sure, Michael. : )
We also stumbled upon a defaced Harvard legend:
Pooh’s house.
Yes, Harvard campus is as quirky as its student body.
Read more about Pooh’s house here.
To read about the crime go here.
To see a picture before the vandalism go here.

Happy Birthday, Harvard.
We hope we won’t be around to attend your 400th bash.
